The Rev. Tommy Dillon serves as Rector of Saint Aidan's Episcopal Church in San Francisco.  Besides providing pastoral leadership in the parish, he oversees several church/community programs such as a neighborhood food bank, a mental health awareness support group, an emergency preparedness committee, a bar ministry in the GLBT community called “Sacred Cocktails in the Castro”, and a Sunday afternoon emerging church community at St. Aidan’s called the “Community of Travelers”.

Before becoming Rector of Saint Aidan's in 2006, Dillon was the first Director of Prisoner Aftercare Services for the National Volunteers of America. Previously he worked with the Volunteer of America of Greater Baton Rouge for seven years in Mental Health and Homeless Services and served for five years as Vicar of St Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, LA.

Dillon is a graduate of Louisiana State University, Yale University, and the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church, where he specialized in Anglican Liturgy.

He enjoys traveling, photography, and connection with the beauty of the earth.
