Board Members
Rose Marie Springer is Asst. Professor Emerita from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She has a M.A. degree from Missouri University in Guidance and Counseling, worked at Purdue University and then became Associate Dean of Students at Westmont College. After 14 years on campus in Santa Barbara, she moved to San Francisco to become Associate Director of the Westmont Urban Program. Her affiliation with Sojourn began in the 1970's when interns from the program were accepted to work in the chaplaincy and she was campus supervisor for those interns. Interns from that program continue to work at Sojourn. Ms. Springer worked as a Volunteer Chaplain for some years during the 1990's and became a member of the board in the late 1990's. She has served as Secretary for the board for a number of years. She has been a member of Old First Presbyterian Church in San Francisco for more than 25 years, and is currently a board member of Welcome which is an outreach to the homeless established at the church.
